The Alpha Course
We are starting our next Alpha Course on Thursday 18th April and it will run weekly until the 27th June (except 30th May which is in half term). The Marriage Course
an opportunity to invest in the future of your relationship
Why do the Marriage Course?
In the work place most employees have regular training to keep their abilities at their best. It’s the same with marriage. A strong loving relationship doesn’t happen by chance…We can all learn how to make even the happiest marriage stronger and better.
Is the course right for me?
Are you married or in a long term cohabiting relationship?
Have you been together for over a year?
Would you like your relationship to be the best it can be?
The Marriage Course is for any couple who answers yes to these questions, whether you feel you have a strong marriage or are struggling.
While the Marriage Course is based on Christian principles, it is designed for couples with or without a Christian faith.
What is the Marriage Course?
The Marriage Course was developed over 15 years ago at Holy Trinity, Brompton and now runs at thousands of venues across the world.
There are seven sessions which will provide practical tools to help you:
Understand each others’ needs
Communicate more effectively
Grow closer through resolving conflict
Heal the ways you’ve hurt each other
Recognise the impact of family background on your relationship
Develop greater sexual intimacy
Discover each other’s love languages and much more!

From 7.20pm – 9.50pm in Busbridge Church Centre
What can I expect on the course?
- A warm and friendly welcome
- Romantic table for two with space to relax and chat
- A two course meal served with wine
- Practical talks on DVD, including clips of couples sharing their experiences
- Time to talk on your own as a couple, on topics presented
No group work, so RELAX – no need to share anything about your relationship with anyone else.

The BIG Story - Wider, Deeper, Higher
If you’ve been with us over the past few weeks you’ll know that on Sundays we have been exploring the big story of the Bible, looking at some of the key themes and characters. And it really is a big story; there is so much to it we can barely scratch the surface on a Sunday!
So if Sundays have left you wanting more, or you wish you had the opportunity to ask questions, then why not consider coming along to a course we are running over Lent, where we will delve deeper together. Sessions will comprise a mixture of talks and opportunities for discussion and questions and will run from:
8.00-9.30pm on Wednesday evenings in Busbridge Church Centre.
20th Feb – ‘God’ A look at how Israel’s relationship with and understanding of God developed over time.
27th Feb – ‘Creation’ A chance to explore some of the key elements of the early chapters of Genesis in more detail.
6th Mar – ‘Covenant & Law’ Exploring the purpose of God’s covenant with Israel and the Law he gave them and the implications for us today.
13th Mar – ‘Land and History’ Looking at how Israel entered the Land and at the history and future of God’s promises through Israel to the nations.
20th Mar – ‘Messiah’ Seeing how the concept and expectations of the Messiah develop through the Old Testament and Jewish history.
